Privacy notice

LiffeyLabs, a software development studio based in Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data.

Only what you give us when you write, plus some technical data about how the site is used:

• Identity and contact: name, email address or phone number (WhatsApp).
• Project details: business name, project type, budget range and whatever description you share.
• Technical data: chosen language, pages visited in aggregate and anonymously, and a hashed fingerprint of your IP address to prevent form abuse. We never store your IP in clear text.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data or financial data. Please do not include it in your messages.

Purposes needed to handle your request:

• Replying to your message and following up.
• Understanding the scope of your project and preparing a written proposal.
• Sending you confirmation that we received your request.
• Protecting the site from automated or abusive submissions.

Additional purpose, not needed to serve you: measuring site usage in aggregate to improve it. If you don't want your data used for this, write to contacto@liffeylabs.com; opting out does not affect how we serve you.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

We do not transfer your data to third parties for their own purposes. To run the site and contact channels we rely on providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Vercel Inc. — site hosting and anonymous usage measurement (United States).
• Supabase Inc. — database where requests are logged (United States).
• Resend — sending the confirmation email (United States).
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and the email provider — when you choose to contact us through them, under their own privacy policies.

We will only share your data with authorities when a law or a duly grounded order requires it.

Requests that don't become a project are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact and then deleted. If we work together, data is kept for the length of the relationship and for as long as applicable tax and legal obligations require.

You have the right to Access your data, Rectify it if inaccurate, Cancel it when you consider it is no longer needed, and Oppose its use for specific purposes. You can also revoke your consent or ask us to limit its use or disclosure.

Send your request to contacto@liffeylabs.com including:

• Your name and a way to reply to you.
• A document proving your identity (or your representative's, with the corresponding power of attorney).
• Which right you want to exercise and over which data.
• Anything that helps us find it (for example, the email or number you wrote from).

We will reply within the legal time limits and, if applicable, make the change within the following legal period. The process is free of charge.

The site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We only use:

• A language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember whether you prefer Spanish or English.
• Browser session storage so the intro animation doesn't replay during the same visit.
• Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure visits and performance in aggregate and without cookies.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.

If the way we process your data changes, we will update this notice on this page and change the update date. If a change requires your consent, we will ask for it through the channel you used to contact us.

If you believe your right to data protection has been violated, you may go to the competent Mexican data protection authority.
